Google has officially announced a new Android tablet which called the HTC Nexus 9. The HTC Nexus 9 Android tablet is already available for pre-order in the US via Amazon at a price of $399.99 for the 16GB version and $479.99 for the 32GB version. The Nexus 9 tablet is set to be released on November 3, 2014.
Let us discuss the specs of the HTC Nexus 9 tablet. The HTC Nexus 9 comes with a premium metal build with a soft touch back and a metallic frame. The HTC Nexus 9 is equipped with a 8.9-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixel, 4:3 aspect ratio and 281 ppi pixel density. The screen of the Nexus 9 is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect from scratches.
The HTC Nexus 9 Android tablet is powered by a 2.3GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra K1 64-bit processor with NVIDIA’s Kepler GPU and 2GB RAM. The Nexus 9 has two internal storage options including 16GB and 32GB. Unfortunately the Nexus 9 does not provide a microSD card slot.
For photography features, the HTC Nexus 9 is equipped with 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera. The Nexus 9 has a number of connectivity including LTE, HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, microUSB port.
The HTC Nexus 9 features dual front-facing speakers with HTC Boomsound, dual microphones and 3.5mm audio jack. The HTC Nexus 9 is already runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. The HTC Nexus 9 provides a 6700mAh battery which gives up to 8.5 hours LTE browsing.
